Chorny Lebed (Black Swan)
Brocard
Chorny Lebed is a magic character from Tchaikovsky’s ballet Swan Lake, a gem of the Russian classics. This is a captivating work of art, full of dramatics. A collective image of a fateful and seductive woman in the guise of a black swan, gracefully glides across the water surface by day, opening up its witchery at night when it maddens everyone it encounters on its way.
The colourful fragrance of Chorny Lebed incarnates a magic image of a woman engaged in eternal battle of light and dark forces. The famous perfumer Alienor Massenet incarnated in her composition Chorny Lebed the idea of eternal confrontation of light and darkness, using for this purpose two key ingredients, a red rose and spicy patchouli against the background of saturated and bright floral, spicy and woody notes. The beauty and dramatics of the fragrance stem from exotic white orchids, velvety violets and red roses. The heady sillage of patchouli, spicy vetiver and precious sandalwood symbolises the mysterious force of witchery.

Bertrand Duchaufour
Bertrand began his perfumer career in Grasse in 1985. He learned from the senior Master Perfumers at Florasynth and Symrise and shaped during all these years his own approach to Perfumery.
“I had acquired a very specific approach to perfumery, which is that of all the perfumers in the big labs. By becoming independent, by working in my own lab, directly on my formulas, by weighing them, I’ve developed a different approach to perfumery, another way of building my perfumes. My control over raw materials is getting better and better”. - Bertrand Duchaufour.
